  • Hello – I am a part-time online MSW student and this podcast was assigned material in one of my courses. I want to inform whoever handles the podcast transcriptions that the current transcription available to download for Episode 103 – Dr. Reginald York: “Dodo Birds and Psychotherapy: The Controversy over Evidence-Based Practice Versus Practice-Based Evidence” is gravely inaccurate. I would have overlooked it if the mistakes were minor and did not affect overall comprehension, but feel I must say something as I utilize transcriptions as a part of my Academic Accommodations through the Accessibility Resources Office and the errors in this case were significant enough to render the transcription non-sensical and unhelpful. I would be willing to email a corrected transcription that I created after listening to the podcast repeatedly for an extended period of time in an attempts to understand what was being said when the poor audio quality of the interviewee made some parts of the conversation inteligible. My hope is for anyone in the future who depends on transcripts for equitable education access will not have to go through the same experience I did. Thank you
